We have two great events planned for March. We start off with the “Night Before” networking event on March 23. PricewaterhouseCoopers will be our sponsor for this event. Our Tough International HR Challenge Series continues with Foreign Corrupt Practice Act Essentials on March 24. As always our educational event will be held at the Deloitte Center for Energy Solutions Conference Center.

Houston is also hosting two international HR conferences in March and we welcome Families in Global Transition and National Foreign Trade Council (along with HR Houston). Houston IS the Global Center of Excellence for international human resources.

2010 Wellness Reception -  January 14

Our January networking event brings us together with HR and Wellness professionals on Thursday, January 14 (please note the date) from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the George R. Brown Convention Center in the George Bush Ballroom (Section 310, 3rd Floor).  We are partnering with the Houston Wellness Association for this event.  The members of the Houston Wellness Association represent over 110 companies of all sizes and industries. Many of their members are also HR professionals.  Global Wellness is a growing area and this is a great opportunity for us to network, share our international experience and learn from HR and wellness professionals.   This is also an opportunity for us to bring awareness to our profession by encouraging and inspiring others to consider careers in international human resources.  This is a free event for both corporate and service provider members.  Please register here.  Let’s have a great turn-out and meet our fellow Houston professionals!  We will resume our regular schedule in February.
