In addition to our Advisory Committee, Houston International HR Roundtable sponsors several committees.  Joining one of our committees allows you an opportunity to network and collaborate with other members to develop professionally.

Global Center of Excellence Committee

The Global Center of Excellence Committee is focused on bringing increased recognition to Houston as the Global Center of Excellence for International Human Resources in accordance with our vision statement.   This committee works in conjunction with our other committees to promote Houston and its value as a global leader in international HR. Michelle Sandlin is the Chair of the committee.

Membership/Sponsorship Committee

The Membership/Sponsorship Committee assists in outreach to new members and sponsors.  This committee also assists us in meeting our mission of bringing awareness to the profession by encouraging and inspiring others to consider careers in international human resources.

Communications Committee

The communications committee assists with communications to members, including newsletters, Facebook, and website information. This committee also assists with public relations including press releases to appropriate media outlets.

Mentor Committee

The Mentor Committee helps coordinate our mentorship program and assists in matching mentors to mentees.

Social/Networking Committee

The Social/ Networking Committee assists with our networking and social events held both in conjunction with monthly meetings and stand alone (e.g., “Night Before” event, etc.).

Transition Committee

The Transition Committee assists our members who are in transition.  Houston International HR Roundtable offers financial assistance in the form of reduced or waived memberships for our members in transition.
