FOREIGN CORRUPT PRACTICES ACT – THE NEW CHALLENGES!
You are invited to the July 2013 program of the Houston International HR Roundtable. This will be an timely and informative program on an issue that affects everyone doing business internationally.
After a decline in the number of prosecutions under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) over the past year, several prominent enforcement actions have been announced in 2013; against both companies and individuals. The need for a robust compliance program is greater than ever. Human resource professionals are often called on to assist in various aspects of a company’s compliance program.
This session will draw from prominent individuals, such as Lance Armstrong and institutions, such as the US Navy, to illustrate the key components of an effective compliance program.
